 ASR Provisioning

    Write facility and trunk orders to the RBOC / ILEC

    Resolve all ordering issues with the LEC until order is completed

    Update database with CFA / SCFA and ECCKT information, as well as the NPA/NXX and TSC assigned to each trunk group.

     

 Code Administration

      Agreement with Telcordia to input code information into BIRRDS to vieiw the AOCN list, go to the Telcordia Document Center and click on AOCN list

      Provide assistance determining homing arrangements and other information needed for Part 2 form

      Input all Part 2 forms into BIRRDS (Switch information, NXX, Switch Homing Arrangements, LRN)

      Document homing arrangements for each SHA indicator and NPA-NXX

     Code Ordering

      Prepare and submit NRUF forecasts - required twice each year

      Prepare and submit Pooling forecasts - required twice each year

      Provide assistance gathering Rate Center name, LATA, Controlling LEC and other information needed to fill out Part 1 and Part 1a code requests

      Submit Part 1 requests to the appropriate numbering administrator

       Submit Part 1bs and IntraService Provider forms to NPAC

      Submit Part 4 Code in Service confirmations to the numbering administrator

      Assist in resolving translation problems

       

 Project Coordination

    Review network requirements to determine what needs to be done and advise client on how to proceed

    Order codes and input into BIRRDS or track code status

    File necessary paperwork (CLEC Profile, Network Information Sheets, Forecasts) with the RBOCs / ILECs to get project started

    Attend Joint Planning meeting with RBOC or ILEC and negotiate project terms

    Fill out necessary paperwork with SS7 providers to add routes to SS7 links

    Issue ASRs or track ASR provisioning status

    Assist with translation problems

     

 Training

    ASR Provisioning - training wholesale customers how to write Access Service Requests for products ordered through the RBOC / ILEC's ASR system. Also includes information on setting up job aides, as well as how to track orders and maintain documentation.

    Bill Audit Training  - training wholesale and retail customers how to audit their bills and dispute charges. Also includes information on how to gather information from orders, bills and customer service records.

    Code Administration - training wholesale customers how to forecast codes, order codes, determine routing, add codes into the national database (BIRRDS), and track status through part 4 completion.
